Spicy Sriracha Tofu

  • 4 block extra firm tofu (drained)
  • 4 tablespoon corn flour
  • 3 tablespoon oil (for pan fry)
  • ½ tablespoon light soy sauce
  • 4 teaspoons TABASCO® Sriracha Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 medium scallion (chopped, white and green parts separated)
  • 2 teaspoons TABASCO® Sweet & Spicy Sauce
  • 2 tablespoon Honey
  • 1 tablespoon Paprika

  • Place tofu block between some paper towels and press to absorb extra water.
  • Repeat until tofu feels dry and no more water comes out. Slice across in half lengthwise and then into cubes. Coat evenly with corn flour.
  • In a large bowl stir together light soy sauce, TABASCO® Sriracha Sauce, sesame oil, white part scallion, TABASCO® Sweet & Spicy Sauce, honey and paprika.
  • Pan fried the coated tofu with oil until golden brown. Then pour in the sauce. Simmer until the sauce thickens. Garnish with green part scallion.
